Customer Service Associate

Department: Accounting
Location: Dallas, TX

The Customer Service Associate performs a variety of customer service-related responsibilities. Duties include processing customer orders using multiple resources, using various communication channels.

You should be organized, detail-oriented, and a great communicator. Previous experience supporting multiple client locations is helpful.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Process customer orders via phone, fax, email, web order, and EDI transmissions using an on call desk screen 
  • Resolve client requests appropriately
  • Maintain timing for order cut-off with business units
  • Take customer calls and redirect to correct department or branch for assistance, as needed
  • Resolve escalated customer complaints

REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
  • One (1) year experience working in a customer service role
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, beginner Microsoft Excel, and solid 10-key experience
  • Exhibit a caring, professional and enthusiastic demeanor
  • Possess phone etiquette, problem resolution and customer service skills
  • Excellent communication skills; bilingual (Spanish) a plus
