Cooler Warehouse Associate

Department: Supply Chain - Manufacturing
Location: Cincinnati, OH

POSITION:      Cooler Warehouse Associate                                   

DEPARTMENT:  Production (Cooler)

SUPERVISOR:   Production Manager/Supervisor            


$19.72-$21.72 per hour plus night shift premium


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: All matters listed herein are considered to be essential job functions. There may be other job functions that are essential, but are not listed below.

  • Picking of orders, corrugated orders, palletizing orders and loading of orders, bossy boxing, and loading bossys.
  • Responsible for accuracy of products picked.
  • Keep work area neat and clean at all times during the shift.
  • Clean the case washers on a daily basis to ensure the proper cleaning of cases being supplied to the plant. Performs clean and housekeeping of entire cooler.
  • Check and document the case washer temperature.
  • Check and document cleaning solution concentration at least once per shift according to the Master Sanitation schedule.
  • Must complete all assigned paperwork.
  • Must follow all safety policies and procedures at all times.
  • Must follow companies GMPís, SOPís, and SSOPís at all times.
  • Must wear appropriate PPE at all times.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by Manager/Supervisor. 
  • Must be able to work overtime, holidays, and weekends
  • 2nd shift position- Start time varies- Between 3:00pm-5:30pm

QUALIFICATIONS and/or EDUCATION:

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent
  • Must be organized and detail oriented
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Must be able to stand/walk on your feet constantly during your shift.
  • Must be able to repetitively lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to push/pull up to 270 lbs
  • Must be able to work weekends, and varying shifts (days, evening, nights).
  • Position requires frequent lifting, reaching, climbing, pulling, stooping, bending, and kneeling.
  • Must be able to work outside and be exposed to the outside weather/temperature conditions.
  • Maintain constant mental focus and constantly be aware of surroundings.
