Blow Mold Operator -AUSTIN

Department: Manufacturing
Location: Austin, TX

POSITION:      Blow Mold Operator (Start Time 12:00 Midnight)              

LOCATION:     Austin, Texas 


Responsible for operating, troubleshooting, and performing minor adjustments/repairs of blow mold equipment. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES: All matters listed herein are considered to be essential job functions. There may be other job functions that are essential, but are not listed below.  

  • Operate blow mold equipment to support production.
  • Monitor and record weight of jugs to ensure proper quality.
  • Record machine temperatures.
  • Monitor quality of jug for proper trimming, etc.
  • Monitor flow of jugs on conveyors.
  • Place all reject jugs in regrind.
  • Record number of jugs run in specific time periods.
  • Manual and vehicular transfer of materials within production areas.
  • Adjust machinery as needed to produce quality jugs.
  • Monitor reqrind flow and make necessary adjustments.
  • Change filters as required.
  • Perform preventative maintenance as per department schedule.
  • Maintain clean and sanitary work area.
  • Must complete all assigned paperwork.
  • Must follow all safety policies and procedures at all times.
  • Must follow companies GMPís, SOPís, and SSOPís at all times.
  • Must wear appropriate PPE at all times.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by Manager/Supervisor.

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent
  • Must be organized and detail oriented
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be able to work weekends, and varying shifts (days, evenings, nights).
  • Ability to accurately record data.
  • Must maintain a valid forklift certification issued by the company. 


  • Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs. on a frequent basis.
  • Manual and vehicular transfer of materials within production areas.
  • Position requires frequent lifting, reaching, climbing, pulling, stooping, bending, and kneeling.
  • Maintain constant mental focus and constantly be aware of surroundings.
