HR Systems Manager

Department: Human Resources
Location: Dallas, TX

This role will manage and maintain the Human Resources systems of record, including the core HR system, Applicant Tracking and Learning / Talent Management systems (in addition to any other human capital systems), ensuring proper compliance, data integrity, data flow and system connectivity and security. This position requires a deep understanding and practical application of HR data analytics and will support ongoing process improvement activities and proactively manage the business intelligence reporting, generating greater efficiency and structure for the company’s HR system needs.

Essential Functions: 

  • Leads the function for UltiPro & and      other cloud-based HR software systems. Responsible for all necessary      system security, set-up and reporting to meet business needs.
  • Requires subject matter expert level      understanding of company business processes, configuring each system to      fit business needs.
  • Must be able to communicate      effectively with key stake holders to understand needs and develop      customized reporting solutions and      dashboard analytics.
  • Manages relationships with all HR system      vendors, including overseeing agreements and billing review/approval.
  • Lead collaboration with fellow HR team      members as well as Payroll, Finance and IT to ensure accurate, timely and      efficient processing of business transactions.
  • Provide HRIS problem resolution support,      including development, testing, and implementation of process      improvements.
  • Meets with users to analyze, design,      develop, integrate, test, and implement system applications to meet      special and on-going needs of associates and leadership.
  • Leads project teams for system upgrades,      enhancements, evaluations and data integration.
  • Documents and maintains setup details for      all system configurations.
  • Analyzes current processes and makes      recommendations/implement improvement.
  • Identify new functionality and      recommend/implement changes.
  • Manages benefit administration from a      system perspective in UltiPro (reporting, file feed build-out/testing,      annual enrollment & life events, etc.) – partners with Benefits      Manager as needed.
  • Drive manager and employee self-service in Ultipro

Qualifications Required 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or HR Management with a concentration in computer science
  • At least seven (7) years of relevant HR data management experience required.
  • UltiPro system experience required
  • Strong project management / project leadership skills
  • Proficiency with HRIS, strong analytical skills and the demonstrated ability to set priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Strong understanding of HR processes and procedures and basic statistical analysis methodologies.
  • Must be proficient in specialized report writing software; software applications including Word, Access, and Excel;      database maintenance; and HRIS programs including report writing.
  • Must possess well-developed analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, leveraging both logic and      creativity
  • Ability to extract and manipulate data and present findings to non-technical users.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Focused on quality and accuracy and possess a high degree of initiative.
  • High degree of interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all levels within the organization,      understand user needs, and offer suggestions to improve their requests.
  • Must be able to handle highly sensitive data with the greatest degree of confidentiality.
  • Must have diverse experience using HR related software solutions and understanding functional system integration      interfaces.
  • Experience implementing HR software applications (either functional or technical) preferred.
